1. Introduction

FabDream Studio ("we", "our", or "us") is a privacy-first, client-side focused AI image generation tool. We prioritize your data sovereignty and minimize the information we collect.

2. Data Storage & Architecture

We use a distinct "Hybrid" architecture to protect your privacy:

• Generated Images: Stored LOCALLY on your device (using your browser's IndexedDB). We do NOT upload your images to our servers.
• Projects & Settings: Story Book projects, Transition Lab sequences, and tool settings are also stored locally in your browser.
• Prompts: Stored locally on your device only.
• API Keys (BYOK Mode): If you bring your own Gemini API Key, it is stored strictly in your browser's Local Storage. It is never sent to our database.

⚠ 3. Important: No Cloud Backup — Risk of Data Loss

Because all your content is stored locally in your browser, it is not synchronized, backed up, or recoverable by FabDream Studio. Your content is permanently tied to the specific browser on the specific device where it was created.

Your data will be lost if you:

• Clear your browser data, cache, cookies, or site data;
• Uninstall or reinstall your browser;
• Switch to a different browser (e.g., Chrome to Firefox);
• Switch to a different computer, phone, or tablet;
• Use Private / Incognito browsing (data is erased when the window closes);
• Reset or format your device;
• Lose your device or it becomes damaged.

We strongly recommend downloading your creations regularly using the download buttons available in the application. We cannot recover lost content under any circumstance.

4. Information We Collect (Cloud Account)

If you choose to create a FabDream Cloud Account (via Google Sign-In), we collect minimal data solely to manage your access:

• Identity: Google Email and basic profile (Display Name) for authentication.
• Usage Metadata: We track credit balance and the number of generations to enforce quotas (if using our free tier).

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your Cloud Account information only to:

• Authenticate your access to the platform.
• Manage your free/paid credit balance.
• Prevent abuse of our free tier resources.

We do NOT sell your data, do NOT serve ads, and do NOT train models on your creations.

6. Third-Party Processing (AI Providers & Partners)

Our AI features rely on third-party providers. When you generate content, your prompt and/or reference images are sent to the relevant provider for processing:

• Google Gemini — Image and text generation. Google handles your data according to their Privacy Policy and API Data Policy.
• fal.ai — Image upscaling (SeedVR2). Data is processed according to the fal.ai Privacy Policy.

FabDream Studio acts as a secure interface between you and these AI providers. We do not store your prompts or generated content on our servers.
